Police have arrested a man following a robbery and an assault in Hastings earlier this morning. The incident took place on High Street just after 2am on Saturday 30 June. The victim, a 40-year-old Hastings man, told police that he was on his daughter’s scooter when he saw another man walking towards him. As the man walked past the victim, he allegedly struck the victim to the back of his head knocking him off the scooter.
