Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision which occurred at Pearcedale yesterday afternoon (14 January 2020). Investigators have been told an SUV was travelling along Baxter-Tooradin Road at 12.20pm when it attempted to overtake two cars and collided head-on with a semi-trailer. Emergency services arrived on scene but were not able to revive the male driver of the SUV. The driver of the truck has been transferred to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
