A man has died after being hit by a car in Dromana last night.
Police have been told the man stepped onto the outside north bound lane of the Peninsula Freeway just before 8.50pm.
He was struck by a Toyota Corolla, before being struck by at least one other vehicle.
The man died at the scene.
A 41-year-old Mornington woman is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
