A WYNDHAM Vale man has been charged with intentionally cause serious injury over the alleged stabbing of an 18-year-old Safety Beach man in Federation Square on March 11 about 11.40pm.

The Safety Beach man was taken to hospital in a critical condition, but was stabilised and is now recovering from his wounds.

Police also arrested seven other males, aged between 14 and 17, who were interviewed and released. All are expected to be charged on summons with affray.
