POLICE are calling for witnesses to a fatal collision in Bittern on Friday night (8 September) after a pedestrian was struck by a car on Frankston-Flinders Road, about 8.20pm.
Emergency crews were quickly on scene, but sadly the male pedestrian could not be revived.
The deceased is yet to be formally identified.
The female driver of the car stopped at the scene and is currently assisting police with enquiries.
The circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be established and the investigation is ongoing.
