Police investigate Langwarrin toddler death

Police have arrested a man and a woman following the death of a child in Langwarrin this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to an address in Potts Road about 4.10pm after reports that a child was injured.

Crews worked on an 18-month-old boy but he could not be revived.

Police arrested the pair at the scene and they are currently assisting with inquires.

Homicide Squad detectives have been notified and are en route.
