Rosebud fatal crash

A CAPEL Sound woman died in hospital last week after the car in which she was a passenger crashed into a pole at Rosebud.

The 61-year-old was in the car being driven by a 38-year-old Capel Sound woman when the incident occurred at the intersection of Boneo Road and McCombe Street, about 5pm, Thursday 4 November.

The older woman was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries, but later died.

The driver was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating the crash.
