Body Found Tyabb. A house that is currently under contract on Dandenong Tyabb Rd. Forensic Police and what I believe to be the Homicide Squad at the house. I was told the body was found at the rear of the property but unable to confirm. Note the yellow plastic number in the driveway.

Three people are currently in custody after the discovery of Jade Goodwin’s body in a shallow grave in Tyabb on Sunday 22 October.

The three are a 52-year-old man from Crib Point who was arrested this afternoon, a 34-year-old man from Crib Point, who was arrested yesterday, and a 36-year-old Hastings woman, who was arrested on Tuesday.

The arrests follow the discovery of a body behind a building on the 11.7ha property on Dandenong-Hastings Road in Tyabb about 9pm on Sunday night. The body was buried in a shallow grave.

Forensics police laid down yellow markers pointing to possible evidence found at the scene, including a black glove in the driveway. A blue tent was set up at the rear, covering the body.

Up to 40 SES volunteers were called in by Homicide Squad detectives to line search the Tyabb property for clues before the body was removed on Monday evening.

On Tuesday, the dead man was identified as Hastings resident Jade Goodwin. Mr Goodwin, who was known to police, was a father of two daughters.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or file a confidential report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
