Detectives charge man for Somerville fatality

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man following a fatal collision in Somerville on 25 February.

It is alleged a utility collided with a motorcycle on Tyabb-Tooradin Road about 4.25pm.

A motorcyclist aged in his 50s died at the scene.

The 22-year-old was charged with culpable driving causing death and appeared before the Melbourne Magistrates court yesterday.

The Warneet man was bailed to the Melbourne Magistrates court on 24 January.
