Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was located with serious injuries in Bittern on April 6.
It is understood a man, who is yet to be formally identified, was located on the side of Frankston-Flinders Road, near the intersection of Coolart Road, just after 4am.
He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Investigators believe that a NSW registered white Mitsubishi express van that was located nearby, may be linked to the man.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined and the investigation remains ongoing.
