ROSEBUD Beach Bowls Club is celebrating an extraordinary milestone, with four of its members winning the right to represent Victoria at the 2025 Australian Championships in Tasmania this November.

The talented team of Paul Twyerould, Frankie Krslovic, Steve Brindle, and Joe Turner will line up in the Australian Fours competition on 26 November, with their sights firmly set on becoming national champions. Brindle rejoins the side after Steve Lyon from Balnarring stepped in during the State Finals to help secure qualification.

For a club of Rosebud Beach’s size, this achievement is nothing short of remarkable. The team will proudly wear the Stingray emblem, a symbol of the club’s spirit, strength, and connection to the Mornington Peninsula community.

“To have four of our bowlers earn the honour of representing Victoria is an incredible moment in our club’s history,” said Club President Peter Flynn. “It reflects the talent and determination of our players, but also the welcoming, community-first values that make Rosebud Beach the club of choice, where everyone belongs.”

The 2025 Nationals will be staged in Tasmania’s north-west, hosted at the Devonport Country Club and Burnie Bowls Club from 10 to 28 November. The Australian Fours – featuring Rosebud’s Stingray squad – will be contested on 26 November.

With the whole club rallying behind them, but we are always on the lookout for new members, Rosebud Beach Bowlers are ready to take on the best in the country – and hopefully bring home a national title.
