The first Peninsula Surfriders Competition for the 2025/2026 season took place on Saturday, 25 October, at Gunnamatta, highlighting the incredible surfing talent of the Mornington Peninsula.

Rye’s Lucas Hickson, recently crowned Victoria State Champion, thrilled spectators with a series of impressive manoeuvres, demonstrating the skill and precision that have earned him the state’s number one ranking.

The event set a high standard for the season ahead, offering a glimpse of the exciting performances to come from local surfers.
