A MAN allegedly used a Frankston payphone to call in a hoax bomb threat to a train station on 31 October. Police say the man used a phone on Ashleigh Avenue to call Southern Cross Railway Station – he left a message saying that bombs were at the station and on trains heading towards Ballarat and Mildura. The call was allegedly made at 5.45am.
