Rosebud Police spent eight months investigating the illegal use of dirt bikes on roads throughout Mornington, Dromana and Rosebud, following numerous triple zero calls and community complaints about riders putting themselves and other road users at risk. On 20 July 2026, police executed two search warrants at properties in Dromana and Rosebud. During the warrants, officers seized motorcycles, riding gear and digital devices believed to be linked to the offending.
