The Mornington Yacht Club sailing season is well underway with racing on Tuesday afternoons, Thursday Twilight, Saturday Championships and Aggregate races as well as Off The Beach racing on a Sunday.Last Thursday’s Twilight race #4 was difficult with no breeze at the start and a stiff easterly to finish. AN incorrect report about waste water being discharged into stormwater drains from a yacht at Mornington has sparked a warning from the EPA to all Port Phillip yacht clubs.It is believed the EPA was told that illegal waste water was being discharged at Mornington, but club commodore Andrew Young disputed the claim.
