The heritage-listed Norman Lodge gatehouse on Nepean Highway, Mount Eliza, is due to commence being dismantled by Monday 18 August to be in compliance with an order issued by Heritage Victoria. The deadline comes a year after a demolition order was issued for the building after a structural engineer’s report identified it as having suffered “total loss of structural integrity”.
