TEN volunteers planted 29 trees across parks between the Esplanade and Barkly Street on National Tree Day (Sunday 26 July), continuing the Greenway project linking Mornington’s foreshore to the hinterland, via Mornington Station. It’s the second stage of planting, following 24 trees planted between Vale and Elizabeth streets, behind The Bays Hospital last winter (Rotary’s green vision springs to life,The News 14/8/25).
