OBITUARYCharles Edward Jacobsen26 May 1937 – 14 August 2026 CHARLES Edward Jacobsen, known to most simply as Chas, was a pioneer, a builder, an adventurer, a visionary and a family man. He was born on 26 May 1937 to single mother Frances Theresa (Tess) Reidy. The oldest of two boys, Chas and his brother Ronnie enjoyed a humble childhood in East St Kilda, before moving to South Caulfield where they both attended Caulfield South State School.
