CLIFF and Mary (May) Rayner celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on 14 April. May was born in Fife, Scotland, in 1935 and came to Australia at the age of 12, living in Burnley. Cliff was born in Footscray in 1933. Both their families ended up moving to Dandenong and lived not far from each other. They met as teenagers, and would attend dances at the Dandenong Town Hall.
