RUOK? day events at Western Port Secondary College last week aimed to focus attention on the welfare of others. Students were reminded to regularly check in with family, friends and colleagues to see if they are OK and highlighting how a simple conversation could change a life. The whole school health promotion was initiated and coordinated by the student wellbeing team and run by the year 10 leadership team. NOMINATIONS for the 11 seats on Mornington Peninsula Shire Council open on Thursday and close midday next Tuesday (20 September).
