A man will be without his licence and his car after he was detected drink driving in Hastings early this morning. Hasting police spotted the man as he was attempting to drive his ute off Reid Parade and onto the Stony Point railway line just before midnight. The vehicle became stuck on the tracks and had to be removed by a tow truck. The driver, a 38-year-old Safety Beach man, was accompanied by police to Mornington Police Station where he returned a breath test of 0.243.
