Fatal collision at Tyabb

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are currently heading to the scene of a fatal collision involving a car and a motorcycle.

The incident happened on Boes Road in Tyabb just after 6am.

The male motorcyclist died at the scene and is yet to be formally identified.

The driver of the car is assisting police and the exact circumstances of the incident are yet to be determined.

Boes Road will be closed off to traffic for the next several hours.
