Man drowns in Frankston South

A yet to be formally identified man has drowned in Frankston South this afternoon.

He failed to surface after swimming with people in a dam at Baxter Park just after 3pm.

Emergency services searched the area for a number of hours.

The man’s body was located in the dam just after 6pm.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
