Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing woman Penelope Deans.

The 72-year-old is believed to have left a care facilitly on Towerhill Road, Frankston about 3.10pm this afternoon.

Police and family members hold concerns for Penelope’s welfare due to her age and as she has dementia, and other health conditions, that require medication.

She may appear disoriented due to her condition.

A photo of Penelope has been released in the hope someone recognises her and can provide information on her whereabouts.

She is described as about 152cm tall with a medium build and grey hair.

Penelope was last seen wearing a pale grey jacket with a ‘Penny’ broach as pictured below, with a red t-shirt, grey pants and runners with pink socks.

Anyone who sees Penelope or has information on her whereabouts is urged to contact Frankston Police Station on 9784 5555.
