Two people killed in Balnarring crash

Police and other emergency services are currently at the scene of a collision which has claimed the lives of two people in Balnarring this afternoon.

Police believe a car has collided with a truck near the intersection of Myers Road and Coolart Road just after 1.30pm.

The driver of the truck was uninjured.

The two rear passengers of the car died at the scene. It is believed they are Chinese nationals visiting a family member in Australia.

The 52-year-old driver of the car was transported to hospital with minor injuries and is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
