A 45-year-old woman was detected drink driving in Hastings last night (8 October) following a single vehicle crash. A member of the public alerted police after the car crashed into a ditch near the corner of Hodgins and Henderson’s Roads about 9.30pm. On police arrival the driver returned a positive preliminary breath test and was taken to Hastings Police Station. At the police station it is alleged the Hastings woman returned an evidentiary breath test of .333.
