In the early hours of Friday morning, Rosebud along with Dromana Fire Brigade responded in support to reports of a fence fire between houses in McCrae.

On arrival, crews found that the fire had advanced significantly and had spread to the roof space of one house and was heavily impacting the second.

Crews had difficulty accessing water supplies but worked quickly to bring the fire under control. The fire is not being treated as suspicious.
