A man has died in hospital following a crash at Safety Beach on Tuesday.
The incident happened on Bruce Road when a car crossed over to the incorrect side of the road and collided with an on-coming vehicle at 7.40am.
The driver, a 26-year-old Safety Beach man, was conveyed to a Melbourne hospital but has since passed away.
The driver of the other car received minor injuries and was conveyed to hospital.
