TRAINS will return to the Stony Point rail line today (30 June).
Passenger services between Stony Point and Frankston have been suspended since early April due to technical problems which saw boom gates occasionally malfunction and fail to close when trains approached level crossings.
Axle counters have been installed along the Stony Point line to ensure boom gates are triggered to close.
