Somerville Highway Patrol members are investigating after a teenage girl crashed an allegedly stolen vehicle in Langwarrin last night.
The vehicle was travelling along north-bound on Peninsula Link, near the Cranbourne-Frankston Road exit, when the driver lost control and the vehicle rolled numerous times about 10.15pm.
The 14-year-old driver was pulled from the overturned vehicle and taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Her 14-year-old female passenger was also taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
Police are keen to speak to anyone who has dashcam footage or who witnessed the driving behaviour of the grey Honda Jazz travelling in the area prior to the collision.
The vehicle was allegedly stolen from outside a Chadstone gym on 23 July.
