A man has been taken to hospital with critical injuries following an assault in Mornington this afternoon. Emergency services were called following reports a man had been found seriously injured outside a property in Cooba Court about 3.40pm. The 41-year-old man was treated by ambulance paramedics and taken to hospital with life threatening injuries. Responding police cordoned off the area and arrested a 35-year-old man shortly after.
