MORNINGTON Junior Football Club has witnessed a landmark moment, with its Under-14 girls becoming the club’s first ever girls premiership team.
In a heart-stopping grand final that went down to the wire, the girls produced a stunning last-minute goal to seal a thrilling 21–18 victory and etch their names into club history.
The final moments belonged to Mornington. The decisive goal sparked wild celebrations as teammates, coaches and supporters erupted on the sideline.
