A NEW defibrillator has been donated to Mount Eliza residents and installed in the Village Green. The Ranelagh Club and Bendigo Bank, alongside organisers and sponsors of the Mount Eliza Swim Classic, made the donation possible. Cr Stephen Batty said every second counts in a cardiac emergency and the first two minutes are crucial. The defibrillator has been installed in the Village Green as part of a planned effort to have three devices throughout Mt Eliza village. “We’re so grateful for their support in keeping our community safe,” said Batty.
