MORNINGTON Peninsula Shire will hold the free Dying to Know Day event on Thursday 6 August at the Peninsula Community Theatre in Mornington, giving locals a chance to speak openly about death, dying and end-of-life planning. The event will commence at 10.30am, with the program wrapping up by 12.30pm and a light lunch to follow. Dying to Know Day is part of a national push to challenge the discomfort around discussing death and encourage more people to plan ahead.
