CONCERNED residents are calling for safety improvements at the intersection of Mornington-Tyabb Rd and Racecourse Rd. A petition has attracted hundreds of signatures from people concerned about the dangers faced by cyclists, pedestrians, and motorists. The petition was organised by Paddy Fricker and sponsored by Mornington MP Chris Crewther. It has attracted over 700 signatures across hard-copy and online forms. DRIVERS have been left facing costly repairs after a large pothole on Mornington-Tyabb Road caused significant damage to vehicles earlier this week.The pothole, located roughly 500 metres from the Coolart Rd roundabout near Brideoake Racing, has opened along a busy detour route.
