FRANKSTON South golfer Will Veitch has taken home silver at the US Kids Golf World Championship. The championship took place in Pinehurst, North Carolina from 30 July to 1 August. Seven-year-old Will was tied for the lead after three rounds, before a four-hole playoff decided the title. Will said he was nervous, but it was exciting to get to compete. “It was really cool to play in the World Championship,” said Will. “I was a bit nervous in the playoff, but I just tried my best.
