Missing holidayers located

A Flinders couple missing on their way home from South Australia has been found safe and well.

An 81-year-old man and his 74-year-old wife were driving back but but failed to arrive as expected. Searchers found them safe and well, 2.30pm, Monday 1 May, about 15km from their car, which had become bogged in an area called Lake Mundi-Dergholm. The couple’s family has been notified.

Police would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance
