MORNINGTON Peninsula’s own International Cool Climate Wine Show (ICCWS), now in its 19th year, is an acclaimed wine show for wineries, industry, and the public.

The ICCWS is recognised as one of Australia’s foremost shows for inspirational cool climate wines, and each year attracts more than 650 wines from around the world in competition classes including Sparkling wines & Champagnes, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Pinot Noir, Shiraz, Italian Varietals both from Northern Italy and local, along with many more.

A feature of the show each year is the opportunity given to wine lovers to sample the cool climate wines entered in the event.

The depth and breadth of the wine on show is vast.  Many wines come from boutique vineyards which produce smaller commercial quantities, so this is your chance to seek out some outstanding, but lesser known labels.

On Saturday, May 25th, at the Mornington Racing Club, the VIP Tastings (including mini Master Classes of local and cool climate wines) will take place between 1pm and 4pm, and the Public Tasting will be held from 1.30pm to 4.30pm.

Tickets for these events is via www.internationalcoolclimatewineshow.com/public

Whether you are an occasional tippler or a fully-fledged wine connoisseur, the International Cool Climate Wine Show Public Tastings are just what you have been looking for.
