Two drivers have lost their licences after allegedly reaching speeds of up to 180km/h on the Mornington Peninsula Freeway in the early hours of Monday morning.
Police allege the pair were travelling side-by-side near Rosebud about 2.20am on 11 May when they were detected speeding. Both drivers received 12-month licence suspensions and penalty notices exceeding $1,000.
Police are reminding motorists to obey speed limits and drive safely on local roads.
