MEN’S DIV ONE SEN
THERE were only two games in Division One Seniors Men’s played over the weekend, and no Division Two Seniors Men’s due to a Kings Birthday split round.
Mornington managed to secure their second win of the 2026 season against Dromana.
The game was played at Dromana’s home ground, yet Mornington managed to remain in line with or ahead of Dromana for the whole game.
The scores were fairly even at the first break, with Mornington leading by two points after scoring 3.2 to Dromana’s 3.0.
Both teams went into the long break on 48 points after Dromana scored five goals and Mornington scored 4.4.
Mornington began to pull away from Dromana in the third quarter after scoring six goals to Dromana’s 1.5. This put Mornington in the lead by 25 points.
In the final quarter, Mornington managed to score 4.2 while Dromana only managed to score 3.7, leaving Mornington to get their second win by 26 points.
Rosebud is still on top of the ladder after winning another game for the season, this time against Sorrento.
Rosebud came into the game strongly, taking a 14 point lead in the first quarter after scoring 4.2 to Sorrento’s 1.4.
In the second quarter, Rosebud scored a further 6.9 while Sorrento scored 5.4, leaving Rosebud ahead by 27 going into half time.
Sorrento struggled to score in the third quarter, only scoring one goal while Rosebud managed to score three.
In the final quarter, Sorrento tried to get back into the game, scoring seven goals, but Rosebud scored five and remained in front, winning by 31 points.
WOMEN’S DIV ONE SEN
WARRAGUL Industrials remain on top of the ladder after keeping Karingal scoreless nearly all game and winning.
The Dusties scored 1.4 in the first quarter with Karingal unable to get a score on the board.
In the second, Warragul scored a further 21 points to zip, leaving Warragul ahead by 31 points.
Warragul put their foot to the floor in the third quarter, scoring 5.2 while still keeping Karingal scoreless.
Karingal finally managed to score in the final quarter of the game, scoring two points to Warragul’s 3.2, allowing Warragul to win by 81 points.
Frankston had home ground advantage in their win against Pearcedale.
Frankston started the game strongly in the first, only allowing Pearcedale to score one goal while scoring over five themselves and leading by 26 points.
Pearcedale was unable to score in the second quarter while Frankston began to pull ahead, scoring a further five goals.
Pearcedale won the third quarter, scoring one goal to Frankston’s two points and creating a 58 point gap between the teams.
Frankston pulled way ahead in the final quarter, scoring a further 5.1 to Pearcedale’s 0.1 and winning by 88 points.
Mornington secured an easy win against Bonbeach after keeping the latter scoreless the whole game.
Mornington started the game strongly, scoring 36 points in the first quarter.
Mornington scored another 30 points in the second, leaving them ahead by 66 points.
In the third quarter, Mornington scored 3.6, placing them at a 90 point lead.
In the final quarter, Mornington scored 4.4, leaving them to win by 116 points.
Eliza Snehotta scored three goals for Mornington.
Hastings/Balnarring secured a win against Tyabb.
In the first quarter, Hastings/Balnarring scored three goals to Tyabb’s 1.1.
In the quarter before the long break, Tyabb was able to score a goal while Hastings/Balnarring only managed to score three points, separating the teams by eight points.
Hastings/Balnarring started to pull away in the third quarter after scoring 3.4 to Tyabb’s 2.0, leaving an 18 point gap between the teams.
Tyabb managed to win the final quarter after scoring three goals to Hastings/Balnarring’s 1.2, but the latter still was able to win by eight points.
Emily Stephens scored three goals for Tyabb. Josie Brent scored two goals for Hastings/Balnarring.
