Bittern resident Amy Bennett has won the Secondary Student of the Year award at the 12th annual Chisholm Education Awards. Bennett was presented the award after completing her Certificate II in Hospitality alongside her VCE studies.

A school hospitality course sparked her interest, leading Amy to enrol in the Certificate II in Hospitality. She quickly discovered her love for working in front of house and her ability to thrive under pressure. Passionate about sustainability in hospitality, particularly in waste management and biodegradable materials, Amy is excited to build a career in the industry. Amy is currently completing her Certificate III in Hospitality at Chisholm.
