Investigators have been told a 17-year-old girl was sitting on a bench seat on Young Street opposite the Frankston Railway station about 11.40am on Monday, 29 June. Police intercepted a Mazda 2 allegedly driving erratically on Nepean Highway about 11.40am today. The male driver failed a roadside PBT and was requested to accompany police to a nearby police station where he returned an alleged reading of 0.277. A man had to be restrained by police and has been taken to hospital after he flipped his car in a fast food drive-thru in Somerville this morning. Emergency services were initially called to the Eramosa Road store following reports the car had crashed into a bollard and flipped on its side in the drive-thru about 12.40am. MR and Mrs Adderly of Langwarrin suffered a sad bereavement in the loss of their daughter, Erica, aged 12 years, whose death took place on the 21st May in Melbourne, where she had been taking the day previously for expert treatment. Death was due to Bright’s disease. The funeral, which took place on Monday, at the Frankston cemetery, was attended by her late schoolmates from Langwarrin State school. Police have allegedly busted a probationary driver speeding and drink driving in Mornington. Members from Mornington Police Station pulled over the 21-year-old Langwarrin woman on The Esplanade, after witnessing her driving at excessive speed about 9.25pm on 29 May. The probationary licence holder was was taken to a police station where she returned a BAC of 0.157 The vehicle she was driving has been impounded and the woman is expected to be charged on summons to face court at a later date.
Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing 30-year-old Somerville man Nathan Shannon. Nathan was last seen in Nottingham Avenue, Somerville, on May 29. He was last seen wearing a black pullover top, tan pants and red runners. Police and family have concerns for Nathan’s welfare. Mornington Peninsula Crime Investigation Unit detectives have arrested a man after a number of criminal damage offences were committed in the Mornington and Mount Martha area late last year. Police received nearly 40 reports of cars having their tyres slashed between September and December 2019. Investigators have charged a 25-year-old Mount Martha man with eight charges of criminal damage with more charges expected soon. The man has been bailed to appear at the Frankston Magistrates’ Court on 11 November.

Constable Keogh, deposed that on the date in question he was on temporary duty at Frankston.
