MORNINGTON Peninsula Shire councillors have approved a full renewal of the Canadian Bay Rd carpark in Mount Eliza, addressing years of deterioration and safety concerns. According to shire report, the existing carpark has reached the end of its life, with damaged surfaces, drainage issues, and erosion impacting the surrounding cliff faces. The upgrade will introduce new buffer zones between parking areas and cliff edges, upgraded pedestrian paths, and enhanced picnic and viewing facilities.
