PENINSULA Business Network (PBN) will hold a speed networking evening at Safety Beach Sailing Club on 12 August, with proceeds supporting Fusion Mornington Peninsula’s work with young people and young families experiencing homelessness. The event runs from 5pm to 7.30pm as part of the Mornington Peninsula Small Business Festival and will bring together local business owners for timed, structured introductions alongside canapés and group networking. TWO Mornington Peninsula homelessness services have welcomed a $500,000 Liberal Party election pledge but say ongoing operational funding remains the more urgent need. Liberal Candidate for Nepean Anthony Marsh announced on 30 April that an elected Liberal and Nationals government would provide $250,000 to Fusion Mornington Peninsula and $250,000 to Southern Peninsula Community Support (SPCS).
