By Barry IrvingRYE tennis club officially opened the “Hitting Wall” on Sunday 19 October. The wall and its cage surroundings is an ideal safe area to practice tennis returns. Project manager Russell Atkins said the wall is open to the public to come and hit few balls. There is a box that contains racquets and balls free to use.The club has also created a family friendly safe play area for younger children to enjoy while their older siblings are having tennis lessons.
