AS a fitting compliment to International Women’s Day on March 8, the sales team of RT Edgar Peninsula comprising of Vicki Sayers, Katrina O’Carroll and Gillian Williams have taken home the award for National Sales Team of the Year at the Real Estate Institute of Australia’s 2023 Awards For Excellence, which were held at the Crown Ballroom in Perth on March 9.

The Mount Eliza agency was recognised for its outstanding achievements in team structure, project management skills and performance which best supported both buyers and sellers.

“It was a real surprise, we were up against some very strong competition from across the country and I’m incredibly proud of the team I work with.” said owner and director, Vicki Sayers.  “Customer service has always been central to what we do and the structure of our team enables us to achieve great results in a timely manner and to personalise the real estate experience for buyers and maximise the outcome for our vendors.”

Since opening in 2018, the agency has achieved phenomenal success with Ms Sayers, awarded the title of Real Estate Institute of Victoria Residential Salesperson of the Year for six consecutive years – the first woman to do so, and the longest-running period for any agent. In 2022, the agency took home several honours at the Victorian awards including Residential Sales Team of the Year, Residential Marketing (Budget under $10,000) and the Community Service Award.

In addition to being named National Sales Team of the Year at this year’s awards, RT Edgar Peninsula was also a finalist in the National Community Service Award category, and for 2023 they have partnered with Mornington Peninsula Shire 2023 Young Citizen of the Year, Josh Berry, who is on a mission to give two pairs of socks to every homeless person in Victoria. Josh has so far provided over 39,000 pairs of brand new socks to people experiencing homelessness thanks to generous donations from the community. RT Edgar Peninsula are running their ‘March into Winter’ campaign to support Josh on this selfless and heartfelt mission. Throughout March there will be a collection box in the RT Edgar office at 82 Mount Eliza Way where people can donate a new pair of socks.
