Police are investigating after a fatal collision in Baxter this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to reports of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian on Frankston-Flinders Road, near the Peninsula Link off ramp, about 3pm.
The pedestrian, a 68-year-old Baxter woman, died at the scene.
The female driver and sole occupant of the car was not injured and is speaking with investigators.
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing.
