Charges following Rosebud warrant

Southern Metro Region Four Divisional Response Unit members have arrested and charged a man after executing a warrant in Rosebud on Friday morning.

Officers attended an address in Sharen Court about 9.30am on 30 January as part of an ongoing investigation.

They arrested a 53-year-old man and a 58-year-old woman and searched the property.

It is alleged officers located a number of items including firearms, ammunition, drugs, a 3D printer and cash.

The 53-year-old has been charged with traffick commercial quantity of drugs, traffic drug of dependence, possess traffickable quantity of firearms and possess proceeds of crime.

He has been remanded to appear at Frankston Magistrates’ Court on 2 February.

The 58-year-old woman was released pending summons.
